Ama Endorsed, born Adzigbli Esime Comfort (1996–2025), was a celebrated Ghanaian social media influencer, entrepreneur, and pioneering female carpenter who inspired many through her journey of breaking gender barriers in a male-dominated field. Here’s an overview of her life and legacy:

 

Ama initially pursued modeling and media, aiming to build a global brand, but later shifted to carpentry after discovering her passion during school vacations while working with her late father in his workshop. She embraced the craft professionally, earning the nickname  "The Lady Carpentern and founding ,Namas Decor Gh, a thriving business that combined artistry with entrepreneurship and created employment opportunities.


As a social media personality, Ama shared her carpentry journey, showcasing her craftsmanship and advocating for women’s empowerment. Her authenticity resonated widely, earning admiration from celebrities, influencers, and everyday Ghanaians. Tributes flooded platforms like X (Twitter), with one user praising: “Her carpentry work was art, and her spirit was fire”.


Ama became a symbol of resilience, challenging stereotypes by excelling in carpentry. She inspired young women to pursue non-traditional careers, emphasizing that “women can dominate any field”. Her story highlighted the intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship, and gender equality.


She passed away on  April 17, 2025, at age 29, after battling an undisclosed illness. Her death sparked national mourning, with tributes emphasizing her courage and the void left in Ghana’s creative and entrepreneurial communities.
